Introdution:
Company Origins - Devotion to green sustainability and dedication to achieving greater accomplishments every day.
The founder, Po-Hung Liu, graduated from the first class of the Department of Landscape Architecture at Chinese Culture University and previously worked for Hanguang Architects.
In 1990, with a profound sense that the landscape design industry was still at its nascent stage in Taiwan, Liu founded Classic Design and Planning Co., Ltd. to dedicate himself to the field of landscape design, providing a platform where future students can contribute to the profession. Later, as his daughter attended an experimental school, Liu began to participate in participatory planning for elementary school campuses. Furthermore, his studies at the Graduate Institute of Building and Planning at the National Taiwan University opened his imagination to alternative concepts of spatial planning. Empowered by the romance and ideals of "participatory design", Liu attempted to engage people of all ages in different spaces, emphasizing environmental sustainability and giving back what he has learned throughout his life to his beloved homeland, Taiwan.
